Characteristically the diagnosis of major depression is also not made if someone is sorrowful over a significant hammering in their lives. Major depression respond very well to  proper treatment.  Cognitive-behavioral therapy, Psychiatric therapy etc are well known treatment method. There are few alternate therapies are – Hypnotherapy, Relaxation Techniques, Biofeedback Acupuncture Etc.
Last of all its proved that major depression is a serious mental disorder but treatable.
